Default Smell After Flowmaster Install

I'm wondering if any others experienced this with an install. Smells like something burning of plastic. Only notice it after some spirited driving. It is cold out and it seems strange. I smell it through my vents.
Could it be back pressure or blowby?
Any help
TIA

Hey Dave, I just installed Flowmasters on my C6 last week and having the same experience. I am hoping and expecting the smell to be coming from the newness of the muffler system and expect it to leave after heating the system up a few times. Sometimes the mufflers have an oily substance in and on them from the build process. Lets relax, enjoy and wait to see what happens.

That is normal and it will burn off in a week or two. It is oil on the pipe from the manufacturing and bending process.

Most exhaust systems will have an odor. Just make sure it is coming from the exhaust

Sounds normal to me with many exhaust installs on different cars.

As everyone said...it is normal as the coating/chemicals/crap the manufacturers put on the headers burn off.
