I'm putting on LT headers w/o cats and my question is will it throw a CEL code and if it does is there any way to change it to ignore that code?

If you load the 93 Octane tune, it turns off the rear o2 sensor and you don't get a code because you do not have an issue with a difference in the data between the front and rear o2 sensor because there is nothing to read.

 

Thanks for the help I'll look at the tuner when I get home but all I remember seeing was the Performance tune option, 91 oct option and some other one I don't remember. Is the Performance tune the 93 Oct. you are refering to?

Edit: maybe I need to get the tuner updated off of the Diablo Website?

 

If I remember correctly, they have a 91 and a 93, since I use 93, that is the tune I use.

The manual sucks that comes with the Preditor, so be careful what you read.

 

My understanding is that the 93 Octane Header Tune that comes with the tuner automatically turns off the rear o2's, I'm not sure the other tune that it comes with does that, so make sure you install the header tune.
My LG's will be here today. I'm going to install them this weekend and use the "Header Tune" for the time being. I plan on doing either a FAST, or ported Stock Intake with a few other odd and ends before I get a complete dyno tune.

 

My tuner must need to be updated because all it has is the 91 oct tune. I loaded that one and it made the CEL disappear but it will pop up after a while then disappear again...

 

Yeah, mine came with a Diablo Performance Tune, a 91 Octane Tune and a 93 Octane Header Tune.

yes they just released another update for the u7194 12-07 and again I feel a difference just put your stock tune back in, update the tool and put the tune back in.

 

Hope those lg's work well for you. They work pretty good with the 93 header tune. Good idea to wait till your certain about porting of TB & Manifold or possibly fast. Thhen you may want to consider a dyno tune.
