Default Headlight help

Hello everyone, I just bought my first vette. It's a 2006 coupe 1lt, I've very pleased with the car thus far but when I was driving the car the other night I realized that my brights do not work. When I try to turn them on the high beam indicator on the dash comes on and the fogs shut off, but no brights. Does anyone have any ideas or ever run into something like this?

Are you certain they do not come on (i.e., have you gotten out of the car and looked at the lights?)? As great as the C6 low-beams are, I have found the hi-beams to be absolutely worthless - even with slightly more powerful bulbs they do not add any more light in front of the car (although they do extend the light slightly higher, which helps illuminate road signs). Even though I drive very deserted roads early in the morning on the way to work, I never use the hi-beams any more ...

(As I said, thankfully the low-beams are a HUGE improvement over my C5).
