Sway Bar Install Question...
I crawled under my car last night to check out the situation. I plan on installing them this weekend. When I used the 18mm wrench and 6mm hex nut for the links, the nut seemed really tight. Even after a few turns it seemed really tight like I was stripping it. I didn't go any further and just tightened it back up. Is this normal? I don't know if GM puts thread locker or anything on those bolts but I looking to make sure they are supposed to be that tight. Thanks guys!

The nuts on the end links are self locking nuts.hold them with an allen wrench by placing it in the end of the bolt and thread the nut off.replace them the same way and tighten them up good. good luck!

On my 07, it's not a allen wrench, it's a #40 torx bit. --

But was the nut really tight? I felt like I was stripping the threads.

Yes, they are tight. Be sure to use a #40 Torx bit (not an Allen) to hold the bolt. You don't want to be stripping that out..

Are they different between 05 and 07-08? Because I looked at it and it definitely looks like a hex and my T40 didn't fit snug in there.
Modshack, thanks for the pic. Are those custom ramps you made??

I know the 06-08 are Torx. Somebody with an 05 will have to weigh in on that..
the ramps are to get my car over my lift...

On my 05 it takes a 6mm allen wrench.
