Default black box on roof ???

I just got my new Vette, it's an '05 -God I'm HAPPY ! There is a round black box on the rear of the roof, I think it's for the XM radio(which doesn't work in Hawaii). Can I remove it or is there a hole underneath?

Yes that is your XM and is commonly referred to as a wart. I have never attempted to take it off but I would assume there is a hole. I could be wrong though.

Default Yes it is.

If my memory serves me,there is a hole under the "wart".Just leave it be and if XM Radio does become available in Hawaii, you would be good to go.

As others have indicated, there is a hole in the roof. I would suggest that you leave it alone for awhile and think about it. After 2 or 3 weeks, I almost never noticed it on my 05 silver coupe. If you still want to remove it about a month from now, it'll still be there.
