Hey bro drop me a line. Hope you are doing ok. My back is holding up so far so good. Must be the dry air here in Kuwait I've got another blown disc where you just fixed but so far I'm holding up. I'm not going to do the surgery unless I get more nerve damage. So far its ok. My arm just twangs every now and again. Not like the L5 where I lost feeling in the leg.
I still cant squat but my bench is up to 300. That's good for me.
Brother posting: Not such a good day. Sharp pains upon waking and he was out of it. I came to make some food but it was pain-killers and a sleeping pill. I could snap a revealing picture but he isnt the type to laugh first. Although I'm still full size, he has been known to act from emotion. His cars are making up for something.
I am impressed with the brotherhood here. This is quite a following he has here. Now I know why his head is out of proprotion with his body. Now ask him who learned to use a TQ wrench first.
I'm off to the Ford forums, I dont like corvettes.
o.k. I'm jealous.

Hey Spin, hope today is better for you. I'm up in Boston but I'll have a pizza for you . Actually with a few more pizzas I'll be able to have my own personal Zip code , need to shed my winter weight and get back to my Bowflex machine btw they work pretty well.
Seriously, get well soon. You are a great asset to all your Corvette brothers and the voice of reason many times.... or you could arm wrestle them into agreeing.
Spin for the Win.... ( well it sounded good)

sorry to hear that, thanks for an update,
Rumor has it, and like I said it's only a rumor. Spin's doctor prescribed 2:73 gears for his vette to ease the pain
While they were arguing over which headers were best, East Coast Supercharging went up to Orange County Choppers and had them do a custom titanium plate with a C6 logo complete with hot women sitting in it, topless. Its a coupe. Get it? Huh?
Update: surgery had some minor complications that actually wound up causing more disruption to my ability to speak. If anyone ever had strep throat, this is way worse. All nerve damage appears to be reversed and there was an immediate restoration of signal strength as read by the machine things that they took reads through about 10 probes. I cant swallow so good. It went ok and they released me on time with maybe one or two spin type arguments and a warning that they wont like me if I'm angry. I just dont know why they think its ok to submit someone to the agony of the boredom in that place. ICU had about 5 old ladies that had to watch 5 different types of those trailer park trash talk shows where people come on and dump each other's dirty laundrt and I swear one show was about a header swap that lost some power.....or maybe it was the morphine.
I'm back home and thats the best place to heal. I saw many people called from the forum and I thank you all for the calls but I really cant speak so its gonna have to be PM's and e-mail.
Thanks for all the support. This was like getting 100 get well soon cards when I got home and it is really uplifting.
Well Im flying pretty high right now. I actually never liked the feeling of drugs like that. Maybe its because they detach you from reality but i like being grounded and dont really feel like I need an escape. They let my girl stay with me in ICU for all the time we wanted and the staff at Mercy hospital was second to none. I let them know it too. I would do a review of the equipment there but it will have to be in off topic.
Well I gotta go now and try to eat. Besides I swear I'm receiving signals through my new internal antenna but the transmissions arent from this world
I was going to try and take one last night Rich....we went out for dinner to his favorite restaurant, he seemed so happy to be eating real food again, I was afraid he'd have taken a bite out of my camera.
Actually, he is healing at an amazing rate....the stitches and scabs around the scar are gone, and his voice is coming back. Looking at where they made the incision, how good the closed it, and how he is healing, after a short time, you probably wont even see it much at all.
We were able to talk for a while without him losing his breath. Because of the trauma to the voice box it's taking much more air to force the vocal chords open. A few days ago, he had to take a breath every few words...last night he seemed much, much better...he does sound raspy and hoarse like the Godfather, but it was good to seem him smile again and even laugh a little. We will be bolting on one of his new inventions on Sunday(and this is a genius idea, Ill let him explain when he posts it, way to complex for me, I would LOVE to market it for him...Hey Ed..get ready ), so I think our friend is back to stay!
Spin...what's it been, about 9 days since you went under the knife? In another month you'll be like a chevy small block with a fresh rebuild, running and ready to tear up the road!
