Here are a few of the projects completed at KOOKS CUSTOM HEADERS during the off season. These are some of the corvette related Projects that we thought we would post for your veiwing pleasure. Hope everyone enjoys.
1ST Paul Newmans C-5 soon to be C-6 GT1 car. We fabricated an entire 304S/S system from the headers all the way back to the side exit exhaust.
2ND Here is a racer we redid his entire system and in testing he picked up 2.15 sec at his local track. Needless to say he is very happy. But at the end of last year he got rid of the corvette and now he is racing a pontiac G6 GSP coupe. We also did the headers and exhaust on it.
3RD A Local Custumer of Kooks Custom Headers is building a all new GT1 car for the 08 season it consist of a SB2 headed small block with all the goodies. We designed a all 304S/S header and exhaust sytem to optimize the performance of the motor through the entire powerband. It consist's of a true tuned merge collectors, mandrel bent primarys and exhaust all the way the passengerside rocker panel.
And of course My team mate Tony Nesbitt from Midnight Racing. And his Beautiful all origanal paint and modified factory hood.{I am serious when I say that]. C-5 corvette that he races in 10.5 outlaw in the NMCA.

I Feel Old, But We Used To Trailer Our Race And Street Cars Down To You From New Haven Ct Years Ago, Nothing But The Best Custom Work. Kooks Was Able To Make A 4 Inch Exhaust With 2 1/8 Primary Headers For A Big Block Chevy In A Fox Body Mustang And Tuck The Exhaust Up Under The Car With Mufflers And You Couldnt See It. Awesome!
