Default New Wheels...New Noises???

Hello all....my first post on here. I just had my expensive iForged wheels installed and I have heard a few "popping sounds" from the front end that sounds awful. Note these are stock sized wheels and tires in the front, in the rear (Z06 conversion) I am running 345/30/19's.
I have only had the wheels on the car less than 50 miles. This ONLY happens when the steering is turned tight less than 2mph (parking). A friend told me, he thinks because so much rubber is in the back, maybe the entire car is "binding" because the back tires are wanting the push the car straight ahead. These are 3 piece wheels....I have checked all lug nuts everything seems tight. The tire company that mounted the tires (Mich PS2's) told me to come back every 50 miles for the first 200 miles to re-torque the wheels. I am at a loss...and scratching my head.
The car drives/rides the same, handles fine.....just trying to park the car sounds like something is about to break up front. The car has less than 5000 miles on it......any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated......it is cold and snowy here in Ohio....pictures coming soon as we get a warm day!!!

nay you just dont turn the wheel so far, mine does it with the drag radials on the back, but even the stock tires did it when it was cold out

Dennis, plz explain. What is the sound? Is it something in the steering rack itself when turned all the way and at slow mph? or is the wheel/tire contacting something in front? or rear?

thanks.

i think its both warm weather and warm tires once the are warmed up the sidewall flex's more, when their cold and cold out they skip kinda feels like your in four wheel drive turning the wheel and its binding i wouldnt worry about it, it could be a slightly diference in the track now but you will learn to drive around it

You are hitting the nail on the head.....it is EXACTLY like my GMC 4x4 turning in 4wheel mode on dry surface.....like I was saying....binding, until it "pops". Just never noticed it with the stock wheels...which leads me to believe with the rear end wider with those huge rear tires may be the difference.

How are you running 345s'?

How many fingers of clearance do you have between the tire and wheel well?

That tire is too big, you will get rubbing issues if you don't have enough clearance.

The wheels are iForged 19x13's. The tires/wheels fit fine under the Z06 rear fenders and do not stick out at all. I am told this is the max that will fit without any issues. There are NO rubbing issues and plenty of clearence....however the car looks like a race car from the rear now.
The ride is actually better with these Mich PS2's, and from what I am told the handling will be much improved.
