Both coasts and the South seem to have an abundance of tuners that are extremely well-regarded --- but I drawing a blank on the Midwest. Are there any around? If not, I think I'm going to go with Halltech.

Not sure how far north you are talking about but Michigan has Katech; Illinois has Speed Inc.; and Indiana has Lingenfelter, DTE, and EPP.
We end up working on a lot of Iowa cars around here. We are located in Buffalo, MN, which is about 25 minutes west of the Twin cities. Let me know if we can help you out.

I'm lurking here from the C5 section looking at info on tires since I have o.e.m. C6 wheels on my 04.
Just had a cam/headers/T.C./differential/tune performed by Straightline Performance in New Lenox, IL (next to Joliet, IL). They are a site vendor and the tune is great! I would recommend these guys to anyone. They spend the extra time on and off the dyno to make sure the tune is spot on.

I called Jim Hall the other day and he only does mail-order now.
This forum has helped me tremendously in the past --- this time is no exception! Nothing much is going to happen until Spring (prolly April at the rate things are going). I guess it's the same for everybody within about a 200 mile radius around me, too. As we get closer, I'll be making some calls.

Thanks so much for the help, guys!
I did the Chuck COW mail order tune during the holidays. The car has seen limited action since then, but the process was easy and the car is an animal now!
