New Weiand composit intake

New Weiand composit intake
Just heard about the new Weiand composit intake for LSX motors. Hope it is a no mod straight bolt on for the LS2. Price and performance look good. Advertised to be plus 30 Hp on the LS3 motor which has a better intake than our LS2. Anybody heard anything.

Yes this news has been out for a while now, this piece was introduced at the SEMA and PRI shows late last year.

It's been in R&D for a while, now. Did not know it was avilavle for sale yet?

It's not...was supposed to be ready for March, then pushed back to April, now it looks more like summer/early fall maybe.

even if you have to do the 'firewall mod' it's worth it. I put mine on in an afternoon and it was a huge SOTP difference.

if this new Weiand/Starr intake is 'the future' of LSx intakes one still cannot go wrong with a FAST 90 (or 92) mm.
