Great replies guys. Looking forward to do the front this weekend.

After looking at the 1/4" drop, I think I'm happy with it. I'll drop a 1/4" or slightly lower in the front and the stance should be acceptable for me. If it drops more in the rear after driving it, that will be fine too.

I guess the few C6's I see around town are not Z51. Mine before I did anything to the ride height appeared to be alot lower than theirs. Someone here said "4x4 look". There are some C6's out there that are rather jacked up.

Thanks again.

You can do that if you want but what happens when you have a passenger? Right side would then be lower.
My car sits equal on each corner with nobody in it. Just the way I wanted to do it. I don't weigh much so the change is minimal.

UPDATE:

After lowering the front last night (10 mins) these are the post ride height stance measurements using the stock bolts on a 2005 Z51.

Front is @ 26"
Rear is @ 27 3/4" (all the way max on bolts, no cutting)

Once again forum, Thanks

newbie question here...

Do all models have adjustable suspension, or is it just the z51 package?

Yes all do.
I just stated Z51 to all in case of the question and so I could close/end thread.

Reference to all inquiring to lower and have some kind of height.

I got the same rear measurement on stock bolts. I ended up cutting the rear bushings and it's now down to 3/4" from stock height in the rear. The front rubber air dam touches over speed bumps and on some driveways.

well I lowered the back of my car about a week ago and had a few days to actually drive it and it might have droped 1/4inch. I started out with 28.5"s in the rear and I'm at 28.25"s now, what's up? I have the bolts turned all the way up. I did jack the car up some and at the end the bolt was getting a little harder to turn but I was still able to turn it.

I noticed in a few posts people are getting the rear at 26"s that's what I was wanting but what gives?
