window problem
help. I changed a dead battery in my 05. now the windows go down automaticaly when I open the door, but it does not go back up when I shut the door. please help thanks.

Cycle the window down with the door closed and hold the down button for 5 sec. after the eindow is down. then cycle it full up and hold for4 5 sec. then try your door opening.
If this doesn't work, check the owners manual for the proceedure but I think this was it.

No, here's the correct procedure.
Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done.
This is called resetting of the window indexing or power window initialize and is in the owner's manual. See page 2-17 of the 2005 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2006 owner’s manual, page 87 of the 2007 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2008 owner’s manual.

Just got home a couple hours ago from having the LG Headers installed and a tune from Speed Inc. ( AWESOME ) by the way.
I noticed when I looked at the passenger side that the window wasnt up all the way. My heart dropped as its BRAND NEW. I called the dealer and they said they could look at it Monday.
Just thought I would search it here and typed in " window problem " and presto. Its like magic.
I read the directions and went and tried it. What do you know it worked perfectly.
You all really are the BEST!!!!
