After reading several threads on this forum regarding the Mild2Wild remote exhaust switch, I have pretty much decided to add this to my '08 Cpe. with NPP. Before I do, however, can anyone tell me if adding this remote in any way negates the GM warranty on the exhaust system? Thank you.

I wouldn't worry about it and will not void your warranty because, "you are not adversely affecting or changing any components of the exhaust system." You will be replacing factory headers with aftermarket ones soon to come anyways . And come to think of it, factory NPP butterflies open up under full throttle anyways, so why would mild2wild void your warranty or be any different? For the exception of the switch
Exhaust system upgrades are usually overlooked by almost all dealerships when it comes to drivetrain failures. Only way you might void the warranty of the exhaust system, is to have your car tuned too rich which may cause your cats to fail. And now if the dealership scans your puter and find an aftermarket tune, then justifiably can negate on the warranty of the cats. And furthermore, it all depends if you have a friendly dealership that looks the other way..Ahhhmmmm..

I wouldn't worry about that too much otherwise aftermarket rims might be a problem also. The M2W looks like it is removed pretty easy anyway. I can see them denying a claim if you had a problem with the actual butterflies. Most won't even know it is there unless you leave it in Wild.
The M2W doesn't physically change the exhaust system in any way. I seriously doubt it'd cause a warranty issue. However, its a 5 minute (or less) job to pop it out and put the fuse back, easy enough to do before going to a dealer if you're concerned.
