Default LS3 and LS7 Dyno Numbers

Hey guys my friend and i just went down to get his Zo6 tuned today and we both ended up leaving with tunes. Hats off to the guys at Mayhem motorsports in NC, top notch GM boys . He was first and his car is: 06 Zo6, kooks headers w/no cats, halltech intake and a borla stinger catback. His car put a wopping 492rwhp down sry i dont remember the torque. Thats crazy that with just intake and exhaust hes almost at 500rwhp. Mine was next...i have a 08 LS3 with a Vararam intake and ended up putting down 392rwhp and 387rwtq. I told my Zo6 friend thats ok it aint nothing some spray wouldn't cure

Just a set of LG headers will get you much closer. The ls3 mods well.

Man, You should have waited to get your headers before you paid for a tune...Now you're going to have to have it re-done
But, as mentioned above, you will be much closer to your buddy with the headers.

LS3 with headers and a cam will get you 480+ rwhp, but then again a cam'd LS7 makes 530-560+ rwhp cam'd.

I had a tune done on my manual LS3 with the dual mode exhaust. Baseline was 390, post tune it went up just over 400.
That's probably somewhere around 460-470 at the crank. This being my first expensive-ish new car I'm going to be happy with that .

Headers, cold air, tune. Put me at 430rwhp. Put a 100 shot on top of that, and your freind better watch out.

Just got back from mayhem and the car put down 409rwhp & 409rwtq.
Thats a 17rwhp & 22rwtq gain for the kooks. The car is an LS3 non nnp exhaust, kooks Lts,Vararam intake , and 160 Tstat.
