Default Hand held tuner devices question

The mod bug is too strong.
Thought of just a little at home tuning but I do have concerns.

Wondering which devise gets the most thumbs up. Leaning toward Diablo Predator.
Also, any issues with getting this car back to stock?

Any input would be helpful.

Thanks...

I bought one and am happy. It will allow you to go back to stock. You can also load custom tunes and keep them if you need to go back to stock.

I have the predator, I like it . More than adequate for my needs, and the scanner function is very useful.

The Predator works well. The tune (for a Z06, all I have used it for) is safe and does provide a gain. The scanner is very useful. Their tech support helped me modify the tune provided for better results.

While a custom tune on a dyno is better, this really is pretty good. And you can go back to a stock tune without going to your tuner, helpful for a visit to the dealer.

Tons of controversy on this. I have one and am satisfied - was looking for improved driveablility, ability to go back to stock quickly for warranty purposes. It works well but as noted it is not as effective as a custom tune. I would still buy another given the level of mods (really just a cat back and CAI). If I was planning on headers and a intake, I would get a custom tune.
