Granetelli MAF

I have been reading on this forum on the many bolt on performance enhancements that a person can do. The one item that is not talked about much is the MAF. I ordered a Granetelli MAF and they say with my other mods up to 18hp gain. Has anyone added this upgrade, and if so, how do you like it?
I have CAI, Magnaflow Exhaust, Custom Map on the car now.

From what I've been told it doesn't do much of anything. I think they said maybe if you had about 450ish hp they said it might help but other than that, if I recall correctly they said it was not worth it because it flows plenty and isn't worth it in results, better to put towards something else like headers

If I were you I would not use it. Instead get a good tune along with your other mods. My LS2 made 461rwhp/435rwtq with the stock MAF. I would have used the stock MAF with my 427 that's in my C6 now except that a speed density tune worked better so a MAF wasn't used at all. Again sorry you spent your money.

Granetelli has had a long and mostly bad rap on corvettes going all the way back to the C4s. I agree with the previous post. Send it back, cut your losses, go with a tune.
