I am installing a set of KONI FSD's and from what I've read they are not the high pressure type like the stock shocks and are much easier to compress. My question is does the shock have any effect on the ride height and if so, should the car be realigned if it falls outside the factory specs for vehicle height??
The BlueCoupe settled about 1/2", and an alignment is definitely in order, especially if you have not had the car aligned yet.
P.S. You will love the FSDs!
I just raised the ride height back up to what it was before I changed shocks- measure it before the swap. Not sure an alignment is really necessary, though, if it was OK before.
Any opinion on the best set up, leave it lower (and realign) or raise to stock height (alignment optional). As it is I scrap a little on the drive way so I may not have an option just wondering if there is a performance difference.
