Does it make any difference which way the drilled holes slant on either side? Should they slant toward the front of the car or the rear? The set that I have will go on with the drivers side slanting forward and the pass side slanting rearward. Can this be right?
Thanks

"The StopTech AeroRotors® are directional. If they are not installed on the proper side of the vehicle, airflow will be restricted and cooling will be severely diminished. The vanes on a rotor act like a centrifugal air fan, drawing air from the inside of the rotor and flowing it to the outside. The vanes of a directional rotor should arch back like arms on a pinwheel. On the top side of the rotor, the vanes should curve toward the back of the car."

If your rotors are the original OEM rotors from GM, then yes that is right. GM went cheap and only made one style rotor for the Z51 front and one style for the rear, so when they are mounted on the car, one side points the wrong way.

It's not the direction of the drill pattern that matters. It's the way the curved internal cooling vanes are oriented. The vanes are supposed to lean toward the back of your car at the top of the rotors. I've written an article (with pictures) to make this all easier to understand. See: How to properly install plain, slotted or drilled brake rotors
As others have mentioned, GM saw fit to only make left-side rotors for the C6 Z51. The engineers designed them right, but the beancounters decided to save money and only produce lefts. That means your right side rotors will run hotter, at the track, then your left side rotors. They did this on the Z06 too!
I've been working to get some high quality directional rotors made with left and right vanes and slots, instead of cross-drilling. When (or if) this comes to fruition, I'll be sure to let you know.
