Default cross drilled rotors

Do all non-Z06 corvettes with cross-drilled rotors have the Z51 option or do other packages offer them as well?

The only way to get cross driled rotors without getting a Z51 package is to get option # F55. F55 is the Magnetic Select Ride Control.

Correct you can get them with F55 or if you really want them and don't want Z51 or F55 buy a set a slap them on. I would go with one of the packages though.

Just an option to keep in mind, save your money and slap on a set of BAER cross drill/slotted rotors.

Really nice pictures. That will be my next mod. That look is awesome.

Is there any advantage to these rotors over the non-drilled/stock rotors??

With the oversized rotors, did you have to change the calipers or pads??

I really love that look but with the 2 pcs oversize Rotors do you really get the added benefit since you still have the same size pads and calipers. I know there should be some benefit with the two piece since it reduces unsprung weight but what about stopping over the once piece. Performance aside bigger does look better.

with the baer kit you reuse the stock calipers and pads. They provide a bracket to relocate the stock calipers. It is an easy install and have a profound impact appearance wise. I am not convinced it makes a huge difference in stopping, but then again, I don't track my car.

I just hated the tiny rear rotors on the car stock.....looked like something off a camary. I also didn't like the fact you could see the rear spindle, so I opted for the oversized rear rotor and figured while I was there I might as well do the front to match. The front rotors are oversized as well......13.375" (same size as z51 stock front rotor) the rears are 14"

The biggest benefit is NO MORE SQUEEEEEEKING!! They also say that the zinc coated rotor will not rust and the cross drill/slotted design helps dissipate heat beter.

Do you have the specific name for the kit that you installed (as in Baer...)

I think he was talking about the ebay rotors. If you plan on getting the baer eradispeed plus 2's you better count on spending over 1k but worth every penny
