Melrose Headers + Kooks Off-road pipe?

Melrose Headers + Kooks Off-road pipe?

Hey,

This may be an abstract question, but I wanted to know if I could interchange headers and mid-section components, I particularly want to know about the combining Melrose 1 3/4" Headers with something say like Kooks Off-Road pipes?

Will they bolt right up?

What I'm basically asking is if aftermarket long tube headers are interchangeable with other brands mid-pipes?

Some are and some aren't so it's somewhat difficult to give a definitive answer.
Some use 'flanges' to attach the piping and others use a 'slip fit' design and of course the lengths are often different.

I am pretty certain they are not interchangable...it is VERY rare unless someone knocks off anothers design.
