Tunes by COW
First of all, don't ask for and don't expect any dragstrip numbers, as drag racing was not one of my criteria. I've been there, done that with my 10 second street car, and that's not why I bought the Corvette.
I interviewed several tuners and went with Chuck because he never promised dyno numbers or other performance figures. I really wanted to deal with some of the shifting aspects of the A6 transmission and some of the throttle response issues installed by GM under the name of torque management, and wasn't interested in any et/mph contests.
Shipped my ECM to Chuck on a Monday, he called late Tuesday night, reporting it being ready to ship back to me on Wednesday, and I got it back on Friday.
Installed in on Friday, along with a 160 thermostat and road tested it this past weekend. After some initial problems and concerns with an air pocket issue in the cooling system, I got everthing ironed out and was very pleased with the whole deal.
If you drive this car normally, you will never know anything's been done, but under full throttle, either shifting automatically, or with the paddles, the transmission is much better. Shifts are much crisper, happen much quicker than the factory shifts, and I knocked down 25 mpg on a 200 mile romp thru town and to my bud's house about 100 miles away.
I have talked with Chuck since the installation and am trying to work out a time and place to meet him for a followup on the tune, and for some of the transmission tuning he can only do in person. And if that tuning is like the initial tune, I'll be a very satisified customer.
So, write me up as a happy customer of Chuck's, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable tuner for the C6's.
Service and communication is critical on these deals, and I was very pleased by the professional level of each that Chuck exhibited.

Finished the BlueCoupe mods: Callaway Honker, Corey Harris ported TB & Intake, and a B&B x-pipe & Route 66, but the HOLY COW mail-order tune really pulled it all together. Next are headers (can't decide on vendor), and then a Chuck COW retune, either at Carlisle or in NY.
The mail-order tune is a WINNER!
06 and later cars get the ECM only tune through the mail as the A6 can only be tuned in person. For A4 guys you can send me the ECM and TCM for a complete tune.
Most guys with my mail order A6 tune are quite happy....Any of you guys out there, please comment here......
Call me any time.
