The trim on the top of the door on the outside that goes against the window on my car is all spotted. Has anyone seen this? What are you guys treating this particular rubber w/? My car is garaged 95% of the time, & has only been in rain when caught while out. It's an '05 vert.
I use the Meguiars Exterior Trim Detailer it works great. I will return your trim to like new and covers any wax that may of hit your plastic.
I pick it up at pep boys. http://www.meguiars.com/?car-trim-mo...r-Trim-Coating
Yeah those spots are hideous and have been there since about week 3 of owning the car. I've been using back to black and it hides them pretty good, but they come back after a week or so. Haven't tried the meguiars stuff, it might work better.
Yep, seen that. Usually due to rain. Makes me wonder what's in that rain!
Mother's Back to Black or Meguiars trim detailer to clean it, and do a very good job - keep rubbing it until you don't get any more black off on a white towel. Then put on a coat of 303 Aerospace Protectant.
Me too. 75% of the trim pieces have been replaced under warranty, waiting for the other parts to come in. There is some sort of finish coating that has peeled, fell, worn off. It started BEFORE delivery ... it was there when I bought the car NEW!
