Hello all, I have a Callaway shifter installed in my 07 c6. Great shifter, however hard to get into 1-2 and 5-6. I really do not have a issue with this just alittle work to get it from 3rd to 2nd. Now here is the prob, wife likes to drive the car and she is not complaining but I watched her have to use 2 hands to get it into 1st at a stop light the other day. I hate to put my stock shifter back in but I do want her to enjoy the car. I have done the "anti-venom" mod but it did not help her out much. I thought about fabrcating another shift stick for the Callaway maybe with a bend like the stock but not sure if this would solve the issue. I am taking the insides out of the car this weekend for sound proofing so figured while I was there I could change out the shifter. So any ideas?
thanks for the time folks!
Man, I got my Callaway short shifter so my wife COULDN'T drive my car. She is very puny and fragile, (nothing wrong with that), but it also means she can't shift my car, so she doesn't drive it either. I kill 2 birds with one stone.

LOL ya that is what a friend of mine said too But I do love my wife and she like to drive the car so have to come up with something.
I say, make the call. You've got no answers here, and I'd think that the manufacturer has probably heard all the issues by now. Tell us what the solution(s) is.

I have Callaway too but it had nothing to do with my wife. The way I took care of her wanting to drive the car was to say, "Don't drive the 'vette"
To the OP. Is everything adjusted right (stops etc.)?
