Default LS3 and headers

Do LS3 C6 respond to headers like those from LG, Kooks etc. similar as the LS2?

Thanx

I dyno'd 378 stock. Kook's 1 3/4, Z mufflers, Vararam, Msd wires, dyno tune. Netted me 430 rwhp on the same dyno. So yes the Ls-3 responds
great to headers and other bolt-on's.

I'm traditionally a Mustang guy, and just picked up my 08 Vette back in September. On Mustangs, they have headers-->midpipe-->catback. Is it the same w/ the Vette or does the Vette's headers go straight into the catback? I ask because it seems like most people here do Headers and a cat-back with no mention of a mid-pipe (h, y, x) -- is this because there is no midpipe on the Corvette?

Same with the vette only the "midpipe" is referred to as an X-pipe for aftermarket application.

Thanks. Are there good gains from swapping out the mid-pipe? And do they make good versions that have cats so you don't have to worry about emissions?

Yes,
Any catted header "system" will come with the headers, cats, x-pipe, etc.
