Yes. There are dyno variances of course but 2008 manuals have been dynoing around 385-396rwhp and 2008 automatics have been around 370+rwhp in bone stock trim.

You're correct with your LS3 rwhp numbers as reported above. I'm not quite sure what type of dynomometer or operating parameters were present to only generate 345 rwhp on an LS3 by Callaway, but that 345 rwhp number is severly distorted and not a fair baseline of an LS3 as reported by Callaway unless they were dynoing an LS3 with fouled spark plugs.

It's even low for some (manual) stock LS2s as well, again depending on what dyno and correction factors are used.

Yep, an LS3 should at least be in the 380s rwhp with a manual tranny.

Hi Mike. Is Simon Chevy in Woonsocket still an authorized dealer and have they had any on their lot lately?

Or maybe the others are printing dyno "brag sheets" distorting their numbers?

Whatever the case is, I know that a standard was used, as I was there when they had an ealy C6 and did all the baseline testing, followed by precise testing of each component added - then removed to prove the gains.

Time consuming, yes.

accurate, absolutely!

Unbelievable!
I was looking at the LS2 file!

Stock LS3's (with NPP exhaust) produce around 378 at the wheels, +/- a few.

Sorry about that!
