Sorry... if I'd been paying attention, I would have seen the L92 part in your first post.

Good luck with it!

I see a NOS set up in there!

The L92/LS3 don't look CNC; you should port the heads since they are already out.

It shoud make between 540-580whp on motor. We have 100 octane at the pumps!

These are stout numbers, however, not to stir the pot on your magnificent 454 build...I have seen 575rwhp to 600 on the 427 ls7 with ported and polished heads, ported intake, and cam on 93 octane, I guess my question would be, why go 454 with 12.5 cr at 580whp and 100 octane? when I can go 575-600whp with the 427 ls7 and 93 pump gas?

This motor is forged LSX with stock L-92's. No head work. We wanted to see what power we could make with them. The customer wanted more of a strong forged motor to handle upwards of 300+whp on the unit.(nitrous). I think had he of spent the money on some additional heads or head porting, it possibly would of made 600+. You must remember we also are in Vegas. Air sucks here. Dyno #'s are not everything. This car is very fast on and off the Nitrous.
Thanks for your question.

What is the weight difference between the new LSX and the std LS2/3 blocks?
Are you changing the front springs on the car to compensate?

Around 100+ pounds. We did not change the springs. The car works great. No issues at all. As of yet.
