LSX Crank Bolt Pattern
I'm away and not near my garage or my mounds of data. Does anybody know what the difference in cranks is between the LSX engines and ole school 350s? I'm talking late 60s early 70s 350 motors. I'm building another project and I need to see if a flywheel from an LSX motor will fit an early 350. I'm pretty sure it will not and I just need to know why. Thanks in advance.

'86 small blocks started the use of a one piece rear main seal and externally balanced flywheel. The LS motor also uses an externally balanced flywheel, but a different part number than those 86 and up small blocks.
pre '86 blocks are a 2 piece rear main and internally balanced. From what I can tell an LS Flywheel would not work on a pre '86 block.
