Has anyone ever had it like miss a gear. All the sudden I punch it to go around a car at about 60mph and it goes to shift and it revs really high all the sudden. It hasnt done it since but still freaked me out. I was almost out of gas too. Maybe thats why?

Yes that too is very possibly a factor.

Mine's pretty consistent, if I stay in the "sweet spots" when flooring it. But I have had it "buck" on me if I either lose traction or let off the gas right before it's about to grab the next gear.
For a really good downshift to 1st - floor it between 20-29 mph, usually gives a little chirp when it shifts to 2nd!
For a really good downshift to 2nd - floor it between 55-64 mph, no chirp when going into 3rd though.
Try it, you'll like it.

Thats because at 60 mph it's downshifting to second gear at around 5k rpm's.

Well nice to know that my SH*(** is not falling apart. It is my first Auto EVER. So I was nervous. Any my first Vette. I have posted on this site for a year but when I switched jobs a few months ago I forgot to change my email address and I dont remember the logon I had. It always saved it. lol oh well.
