Hi, Everyone
I want to replace the original exhaust tips for my 07 C6. Yes, just the tips. I like the original exhaust & don't want to change it. It is very smooth. However, I just want to change tips for a more aggresive look. The original is a dual tips exhaust with a 2.5" inlet. I am looking for a 4" outlet tips. Any recommendation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The outlet on a stock C6 muffler is a SINGLE less than 2.0" O.D. pipe. Aftermarket tips are VERY expensive, check the Magnaflow on-line catalogue for tip prices.
Magnaflow#35169, 3.75' dual outlet oval @ MSRP of $90 each.
+ the cost of dropping the HPipe & axlebacks, cutting off the old tips, re-installing the HPipe & overaxle pipes, positioning and tack welding the new tips, removing the HPipe & overaxle pipes again, fullly welding the new tips and re-installing the HPipe & axlebacks (again).
$180 in parts and two hours? labor at your local experienced muffler shop.
Of course you could always cut the old tips off with a hacksaw with the mufflers still on the car then buy new chrome clamp on tips for about $15 each from JCWhitney or PEPBoys.
I assumed he wanted bigger dual tips. I used $50 ea. single 3" Magnaflow tips on $100 ea. Magnaflow mufflers and had to do the remove, install, remove, install on the axleback. Time consuming but MUCH cheaper than an aftermarket axleback.
I did Magnaflow SS mufflers with stock tips re-installed. I like that look, just as OZONE does. I got the mufflers locally, with a $25 discount from a friend here, and went to a shop that OZONE used. My install was less than his because they "learned" on his car!! My total was $230. Thanks to friend Fred, and friend OZONE for the "help"!! That is, please note, mufflers AND install. These guys are all great!
Point is ... find a good shop to do the work and it is affordable and quality work.
