Power steering fluid circulation
I want to change over my PS fluid, so I change the reservoir fluid only as it is very convenient. However, I wonder if it just sits there, or is it circulated so that I am actually doing something beneficial?

Change the resevoir ps fluid, then drive the car around the block, and change it again. You'll wind up with mostly fresh fluid.
I've changed over all my pickups I've owned that way to synthetic ps fluid. I take them to Northern Canada on snowmobiling trips and at -25 the synthetic stuff steers a whole lot better.
