Default Bose System Help

Hi All, The other day I got in the Vette and noticed right off the radio system did not sound the same as it used to. I checked all the buttons and rechecked the manual for all the settings. All looked good. I was looking for a loud button but could not find one. There is sound from all the speakers and all the fade, ballance and tone controlles work. The rear speakers dont seem to have much volume from them. The fuse is good for the amp. Its kind of strange it all seems to work it just doesnt sound near as good as it use to. Any ideas or thoughts? I can just hear the service tech now as I am trying to explain, ha ha.

Thanks

P.S. I have the nav/bose system.

The "loud" button is to the left of the Nav screen.

There are lots of other controls for balance L<->R and F<->R as well as an EQ that are accessed by touching the SOUND displayed on the Nav screen while playing either a CD, FM or XM.

These settings are remembered for each. You'll find that XM needs higher EQ settings than FM or CDs.

to the left? Are you talking about the physical buttoms or the touch screen? I have not recalled seeing a loud button on mine.

OK... it's a ***. You called it a "button" so I was just keeping your terminology

You turn it clockwise and the volume increases. It is the same "***" that you push to turn the thing on.

Gotcha ... some sound systems actually have a "loudness" switch that boosts or attenuates output...
