4 Car Length Victory
My boss at work decided to buy a corvette after he saw mine. He got a silver 2008 m6, bone stock. I have a 2006 red m6 with full exhaust, cai, and a diablo tuner. We all decided to go race last sunday night, and i am not trying to offend anyone with the ls3, BUT I SMOKED HIM BY 4 CAR LENGTHS, THREE TIMES. And he is a good driver probably better than me. I also beat
a mustang with 4.30 gears, cam,cai full exhaust,tune 2005 model
a dodge srt 10, stock 2005 model
a twin turbo mazda rx7, that has some work done
a 1999 camaro ss, with 4.10 and some other stuff done 1999 model

KILL means race..and these kind of stories are not allowed. The MODERATORS must be sleeping but when they wake up expect this to be closed.
Just curious, was the Dodge a VIPER, and if it was, a stock Z would have trouble beating that. You are probably running 435-440 at the flywheel so a race against an 08' at 430-436 hp should have been closer. Maybe your friend's car wasn't broken in.

No the srt 10 was the truck, but still 505 hp, and the 08 vette has 9500 miles on it, sorry about the smoke story, i would not have posted it if i knew it wasnt allowed. I actually thought the rx7 would smoke me, but i guess his wasnt built quite like some of the others that I have seen.
