I'm sure you'll get a hundred different opinions regarding this but Nittos are the least stickiest of the various types of drag radials with Mickey Thompson being the best.

I'm not sure what your budget is but the "biggest bang for your buck" mod is usually gears. It won't affect your HP one bit but will make your car feel totally different, both on the track and off.

PM me if you'd like some more info.

Well you cant really make the C6 a drag car on any reasonable budget IMO.

But if your OK with a fun Low 11 sec street car.

Tires and a little N20

What are your goals HP? ET? MPH? Budget?

Best combo IMO:
Start with a 1lt A6 LS3
CAI
Headers
100 shot
Drag Radials

Or
1lt A6 LS3
CAI
Headers
Cam
Gears
Converter
Drag Radials

Depending on how heavy you want to get into modding, but the next thing I would do would be gears. It will feel like a whole new car at that point.

thank you all,
With that being said, you already have the intake and tune, add gears and tires. Fast, easy, relatively inexpensive, and reliable as stock for the daily drivability. Your car will be a blast to drive!

Start with Nitto Invos in sock sizes (dicount tire if you have one near you)

Then Cold Air Intake

Then Headers and a tune

IMO, especially if you have an mn6, go with a line lock, a good tune, Vararam, aftermarket shifter and a good set of MT drag radials. Then practice, practice, practice. I found a used pair of Bilsteins that really helped with wheel hop as well. So DR's plus Bilsteins equaled no more wheel hop for me.

1lt = the 1lt option group the best and lightest C6 you can get
A6 = the 6 speed automatic trans offered 2006+ the best tranny for any type of racing
LS3 = the new engine that came out in 08
CAI = Cold Air Intake (like a Vararam)
Converter = higher stall converter for racing tranny
Drag Radials = tires made for drag racing but ok for the street
450rwhp = 450 Rear Wheel Horsepower
mn6 = Manual 6 speed trans
line lock = locks the front brakes making it easier for MN6 cars to do a burnout
Vararam = Vararam brand Cold Air Intake
aftermarket shifter = differnt shifter made by an aftermarket company IE not OEM
MT drag radials Mickey Thompson drad radials
DR's plus Bilsteins = Drag Radials and Bilstein shocks

Do tires first if your roads are as bad as you say.

For your plans the 285/35/19 Nitto Invos

So, I have to ask.......... does Dubai even have a drag strip? I know they host a Formula 1 race each year, does the road course track hold drag races at any time? If you are street racing, NOT good. Maybe you should put your efforts towards road racing on a closed course instead.
