Lost oil filler cap on 07 Z. (left it off by accident), and drove approximately 100 miles on freeway. Never got on the gas during the 100 miles (2 hour trip). Probably less than half a quart came out into engine bay. Does anyone have an opinion as to whether this would cause debris, dirt, sand, etc., to be sucked in or is the air direction/flow from the oil filler forcing air out? I hate to even think about sand or dirt being in the internals. I changed oil today and will probably change it again tomorrow in an attempt to flush it. Any opinion??
I wouldn't worry about it. Blowby was probably blowing pressure outward (proof by all the oil mess that came out). And anything that may have gone in, that's what the filter is for. Crankcase debris would get stopped by the filter before going into the pressurized side of the oil system.
Thanks for all the advice. The worst part is now having to deal with the wife for whom I am constantly getting on to her every time she drives it and does something wrong. I should never have admitted leaving the cap off and losing it. She is laughing her a$$ off at me.

check with carl edwards and jack rousch. i seem to recall carl and co. won a recent 500 mile (nascar) race without an oil cap. nascar didn't like it and fined them but......
you can run without 'valve covers' it you rally wanted too, it could get a bit messy but unless your running 'dirt track' it wouldn't hurt too much. believe it or not but that it one of the jobs of the oil (capture and remove contaminates - leave them in the oil filter and repeat).
