I have an 2006 Z51 with 6 speed manual transmission. I have noticed that when I put it in reverse and just let the clutch out slowly without giving it any gas that I hear a chattering sound from the clutch in the rear of the car. Does anyone else have this problem and know if it is normal or if there is something wrong with my car. Thanks....

Reminds me of that old joke:
Patient says: Doctor, it hurts when I lift my arm like this.
Doctor says: Well, don't lift your arm like that.
Seriously, my car does not do that. Try rev'ing it up higher and releasing the clutch slowly in reverse to help remove any glazing.
Mine does it too. Some folks swear by the C5 clutch spring mod (easy to do, right on the pedal). I didn't have any luck with the fluid replacement, but at least I have a turkey baster now.
Sounds like you just aren't giving it enough gas so it is kinda stuttering...If it doesn't do it when you give it gas then I'd say that is it but I think I know what your talking about and mine does it when I don't give it enough gas and so does my bro's 2007 stang.
