can someone please post instructions on how to pull up the obd on the c6 . i am on cell phone and it is taking forever to try and pull it up. i have a check engine light and am trying to find out what the code is.

The C6 requires a CAN enabled code reader or the Dealer Tech 2. You can't pull codes without one or the other. On Star is no help, they won't give you the alpha-numerical code, just a vague desciption of the problem and tell you to take it to the Dealer.

But the inexpensive code readers you buy only read the ECM. If you have BCM issues it won't help.
