Default LS3 Intake question

I have seen that the Vararam really doesn't show up on the dyno but I have searched and ready many posts stating that there is a definite seat of the pants feel difference after its installed. I am ready to do bolt ons to my 08 A6 but the only thing is i have heard, in the past with the Vararam there was some quality issues. I am just trying to see if everyone thinks the Vararam LS3 would be the best intake when I do Longtubes, 160 thermastat, and a Dyno tune or if their is a better intake for the LS3. Thanks

Well, it's certainly NOT the same CAI, though it is a CAI and a nice product as well.

Another 2mph and you will match the trap record for no headers, done with a K&N, lol.

True...and maybe with the addition of a Vararam CAI even YOU would be able to beat the all out best trap speed ever recorded for a bolt ons only C6.

I would go with the callaway honker.. it came out end of 2007/early 2008 i believe for the LS3 - very similar to the vararam but better quality from what I understand.
