we all know they're "getting there" and they keep showing screen shots and parameter descriptions for the shift profiles and the fluid measurements and the fluid pressures and all the magical stuff that needed

but they've been doing so for a LONG time too - since 2006 to be exact

and no, this is not the same thing as shifting speed or line pressure or even trans behavior

this is more like "how do we hide the limp mode or make the error codes go away" when the clutch rings get replaced with something better than mild steel plated with a friction material

they do that and then someone like RPM transmissions is still proally going to take weeks to find out what all the parameters actually do to a trans

if not years

and remember, hptuners only gives the means to do so, but its still going to take a trans company to implement

that why i said "there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow"

i didn't mean that the rainbow is almost over, i meant its something concrete in existence that is actually quite abstract in when it shall come into existence

and every time it always feels so close you can smell the gold
