I get a check engine light this weekend and my DashHawk shows 2 codes. Can someone tell me (from the codes) if it's the front or rear O2's?
P0136: HO2S Sensor Circuit Malfunction (HO2S-12).
--Description-- The downstream HO2S sensor(s) are continuously checked for maximum and minimum voltages. The test fails when the voltages fail to meet the calibrated limits.
--Possible Causes--
- Pinched, shorted, and corroded wiring and pins.
- Crossed sensor wires.
- Exhaust leaks.
- Contaminated or damaged sensor.
patton/haljensen, thank you both for the response. I should have mentioned it was for my '05.
haljensen, if it's the rears, that's good news for me. I have a set of Nexus gauges w/ a A/F wideband. The original rear O2's were removed and replaced with the provided wideband sensor for one side and a plug for the other.
I recently had some work/re-tune performed and the rear O2's must not be disabled (I hope). My friendly dealership parts department want ~$100 per O2 sensor!
