Do a search.
Firestone makes the Wide Oval specifically for the Corvette C6. Its a run flat but does not have the same sidewall stiffness of the Goodyear. To compensate, I run them at 34 psi cold which gets to 37 psi hot.
Very quiet and street traction is good. I would recommend them for people who still want run-flat tires.

It has not gotten that hot in Austin yet and I was driving normally at highway speeds. But anyway, the point I was trying to make was I thought they felt a little soft at low pressure, so I upped the pressure a little. Just personal preference.
Last month I was traveling across the Arizona desert and I noticed my DIC display said "Tire pressure in rear left tire is too high". I checked it out and it was at 41 and the rest were at 39. I had just recently set them all at 36. I got out and let some air out of that tire and the message went away. I thought that was a pretty cool safety feature that alot of other cars don't have or know about until it's too late and they have a blowout. Sorry for getting off the original subject.

I have had just the opposite happen, I had to work in Reno and the tire pressure was fine in southern Nevada but the temp was around freezing in northern Nevada at 0600 so the DIC was stating low tire pressure.
