Default Firestone Run flats

was wondering if anyone has used these tires? Its time to replace my run flats and wanted to see if anyone has used these. Or does anyone have any other suggestions. I do want to stay with run flats.

Default On fire for Firestones

Best tire and best value of any run flat. Had them on 3 C-4s. Averaged 40K + miles per set. No, I didn't baby them. I love the twisties.

Problem is Firestone has had 'em on backorder since December. Roumer has it they "MAY" be available in late May. Well worth the wait if you can.

Good luck,

I've had mine for awhile and now have about 12k miles on them. They're still as quiet as the first day. I don't race or track or drag, just daily driver stuff, and they're a much better value/bargain for the money than Goodyears. When I was in need and shopping, my LF OE GY tire got a bulge then a hole. I had to park it for 2 weeks. 5 local Goodyear dealers did not want to prorate it, said it was Chevrolet's problem, etc., blah blah blah. Showed the warranty to one dealer and he said they didn't honor it. Called Goodyear and got no response. Tirerack came through and saved the day and I had them on 2 days after dealing with Tirerack. I wonder how GY stays in business, but then, not everybody out there cares about our cars/tires as much as Corvette owners! My $.02 !

running them now, bout 10,000 miles on them.

Have had 3 sets of OE GYs, 1 set of BFG KDWs.

The Firestones are wearing very well, quiet, and sticky.

I got my Firestone's in January and have no complaints. I put on about 1000 miles. They are quiet, smooth, and seem sticky.

I ran them 3 times at the drag strip and got a best 60 ft time of 2.11 sec. I don't think the Supercar tires would do any better, but did not have the opportunity to try.

I recommend them especially at the price. I bought them from the Tire Rack.

I actually e-mailed bridgestone on these tires. They did confirm they were, in fact, just on backorder... but they gave me no timeframe. Oh well.
