Default How much more horsepower?

Hi, everyone
I am debating on getting a header, tune, and exhaust. I have a 07 C6 with Vararam cold intake. How much more rwhp am I expecting with the mod. Right now, it is 353rwhp & 354lb torque. Thanks for your help.

I have an '08 MN6 and added the Vararam, LG Long Tubes w/high flow cats and the 3" Borla Touring Exhaust.

Stock - 389/383 RW HP/TQ
Post Mods - 425/432 RW HP/TQ

I don't think the Vararam added anything on the dyno so all of the gain came from the headers, exhaust and tune.

Forget the HP numbers....Add those mods and you will convert your car to a beast you won't recognize, and then fun factor will be much more rewarding than the dyno sheet. Good luck!

Header tune is a good move. You might want to consider getting the Intake Manifold and Throttle body ported for about 1/4 the price of the lglt's. Then get a pro tune. Look for about 387 Rwhp/tq. Good luck with your mods.

I was in a 2007 C6 today and the car had LG headers, Corsa exhaust, and 4.10 gears. Wow!!! The car felt crazy with 4.10s. So much better than 3.42s.

Best first mods period, expect 20-30 hp and tq. My LS2 is kind of freaky and made 365 on a Mustang Dyno stock. I made 405/385 on a Dynojet with Vararam, Headers, no cats, ported Intake/TB, and descreened MAF.

Nice numbers. You must have been to gettysburg on Jeremys last trip.
He tuned mine and added a PORTED FAST 412 / 408 at the wheels at
keiyhs Pitstop.

Absolutely Man, he did all the tuning on my GTO when I had it. It's a PITA drive from Allentown, especially because I hate driving it on 78, but worth it in the end. It's a much easier drive from Reading though, straight out 222 and not many big rigs.

I just got a tune on a mustang dyno 364rwhp/371 torque.
ARP headers , breathless cai, ported trottle body.corsa sport.
I don't know what stock would have been. They say the mustang dyno read a little low?

most stockers come in around 340 rwhp/tq.

My 05 C6 mn6 made 378rwhp/358rwt SAE on a dynojet. This particular dyno was known for giving low torque readings...it did so with my 03 Cobra as well. Anyway, I had a Halltech Stinger CAI, Kooks 1 3/4" long-tubes, Corsa cat-back and tune.

I'd guess between 380-390 with headers, tune, ported intake and TB, and CAI.

I agree those are the best first mods. You think your LS2 is freaky, mine made 381 rwhp on a Mustang with the same mods as yours. (Kooks headers, catless X-pipe, Callaway Honker, ported TB/intake and tuned.)

I did the Vararam CAI, 1`60 Tstat and Chuck COW tune and LOVE it in my 05 A4 Vert....I have a complete set of Z06 exhaust that is going on soon and that will be it. I decided that even that won't be enough for me so I gave the wife the 05 and bought an 08 Z06!

Don't all dyno's read a little low when the tuner doesn't get what he expects?

I don't think the Vararam added anything on the dyno so all of the gain came from the headers, exhaust and tune.
With the Vararam you wont see that number on the Dyno you see that on the street. When you are on it and going over 6o is when you really feel the Vararam at work.
