I purchased some new plugs for my C5 about 5 years ago but never put them in. They have been sitting on my shelf unopened since then. Do spark plugs have a shelf life? Any problems using them on my C6?

No shelf life issues, I dont know if the LS1 and the LS2,LS3 are the same part number . You could cross reference them and see. Even if the thread and reach are the same, they may be different heat range.

Hey my friend has been a Honda tech for 4 years, and not to get off topic, but what kind of spark plugs did you get?
For instance, on Honda's he's had MANY service calls where the customer complains about rough idling and acceleration. Then they say, "I just changed the spark plugs too." Honda's are so touchy. Only genuine Honda spark plugs work optimally in Honda engine's. I've found this out first hand in my Accord. I put regular run-O-the-mill plugs in there and it ran like crap. Put new genuine Honda plugs in and it runs perfectly. Go figure. In my Wrangler, any ol' spark plugs will do and it runs top notch.
Anybody know if Vette's are like this? I'm only at 9,500 miles on mine, so no need for a plug change yet. Just wondering if I HAVE TO go to a GM dealership and pay for overpriced spark plugs or not.
