How much does a dealership charge for ....
I bought a 2008 radio with the AUX plug (OEM) to replace the one in my 2007. So how much should I pay for them to unlock it, or is there a way to unlock it myself and not have to deal with a dealership?

You can't do it yourself, unless you have a Tech2 tool (about $3000).
If you buy a BRAND NEW, never-ever installed, in-the-box radio, you dont need the dealer. Just plug it in, and it will self-code to your car upon 1st power-up.
If your 'new' radio has *ever* been powered up in another vehicle, even for a second, you will need to take it to the dealer to do the VIN re-learn to get it to work in a different car.
I've heard of prices from 'free' to $75 for a dealer to do this. Every dealer sets his own price, of course.
