Default C6 with muffler valve option ???

Anybody have this option? If so, did you put in a switch that you can open the exhaust all the time? If so, how did you do it and I've seen it done on Z06s using the key fob. How do you do that? Thanks. My brother-in-law just bought a new C6 with the muffler valve option. I'm introducing him to our forum.

It's RPO NPP called Dual Mode Exhaust. What people are doing is getting something called a Mild 2 Wild exhaust controller. It has it's own FOB and will manually open and close the exhaust flaps. The receiver portion of this wireless switch simply goes in place of the factory fuse for the exhaust controller. 5 minute install.

I agree with everyone else - the M2W controller is great. It was the first thing I put on my new 08 last week (I ordered one while I was waiting for the car to be built). Easy, quick install. Go for it!

The M2W is one of those "can't live without" mods. I wouldn't even consider a C6 without it. If I had to pick one mod this would be it. If I could only pick two I'd add the MGW shifter.

In 2008 they offer the NPP option for all C6's. If you have this option its simple to add M2W.

http://www.nakidparts.com/id25.html

If you have an older C6 (like my 2005) you need to get the NPP mufflers and the M2W in a box setup which comes with a simple to install vacuum pump that takes all of 15 minutes to install.

Do a couple searches....its becoming a very popular mod.
