Default Diff/trans oil

I have 05 c6 with A4 , i want change Diff/trans oil , and i heared a good things a bout Amsoil productions.

so can any one tell me what i need for Diff/trans and how many bottle of each.

Use ATF for the tranny. Here's what I have in my differential...

So for differential: 2 quart of severe gear 75-90 and one bottle of slip lock?

what a bout A4 Trans? is that ATF that u mean? (http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/atf.aspx
and how many quart (bottle) ?

You won't use all of the two quarts, only about 1.6 bottles, don't worry your differential will start to overflow out of the input hole, which means you have enough. And make sure you add the additive before you start on the 2nd bottle, hope that makes sense.

Yes, that's the ATF. The number of quarts you need depends upon how much you have drained out. Example you'll have oil in the converter that you can't get out, that's ok AmsOil will mix with the crap that's already in there, but check with your owner's manual as to how much you need to add when you just drain the pan.....it may be different for an A4 than an A6, I don't know. Ask your local dealer to help you as he/she may have an applications guide to assist, too. Good luck!

As I understand it the auto trans has to be filled, the engine started and then the fluid topped off while the engine is running. Once the fluid starts coming out of the fill hole you are there. Only problem with this is you will really need a lift and/or exhaust vent since you will be under the rear of the car with the motor running and the car has to be level when filling the trans.
