As weird as this sounds, I had the same DIC alert with both of my Camaros, 2010 and 2012. The first time it happened, I searched the net frantically for a fix and someone said it was a loose spark plug cable. Checked them and sure 'nuff, one of the plug wires was not properly connected. Clicked it in place and the issue went away. The second time with the 2012, I knew exactly what it was and checked and fixed in 10 minutes. Both of these happened after header install.
do you have access to a scanner? I would suggest you check the voltages on the tps, see if it has a smooth curve (no dips & peaks) and check your missfire counter
a bad plug or wire can also cause this issue.
Happened to a buddy recently. He was told when this happens to turn traction control off to get him out of limp mode. We scanned the code and it pointed to the throttle body. After cleaning it (it was fairly dirty) the car has run perfectly.
I just finished dealing with this issue, I changed the tps and cleaned all the ground wires and did an idle relearn and seems to be running fine now, keeping my fingers crossed, don't drive in extensive rain and never wash your engine bay, good luck
I got this code yesterday
can any one help me pls.
My car broke down in California with these codes, Dealer replaced the TAC (Throttle Actuator Control Module). This was a rebuilt part from Delco-Remy. After driving 950 miles and returning to Salt Lake the replaced part failed. It has now been sitting at the Chevrolet dealer for almost two weeks. They cannot find the part. The only part that was available at a dealership, the dealer refused to sell it because they had special ordered it for another customer. Now the dealer has a special order request in with GM but there is no projection date as to when that might be. Chevrolet is going to stand behind the original repair if they can ever find the part. Meanwhile, I am stuck with a dead Vette in Utah
Hi, it is not you tac motor, its is definitely your tps sensor, costs about $52 at any local auto parts store, that sovled my problem clean all your grounding wires while your at it, also tac motor can be found very cheap on eBay,

There is no mention of codes unless you are referring to the 5 year old post that mentions several P Codes. A message isn't a code.

Good luck, it will work
Sam
Not sure how you know it is the sensor Vs tac motor or any other part without any codes or doing any diagnostics. It could be the sensor it could be something else.
