06/3lt/A6, coupe 42K miles, Nav/touch screen turns reddish/ streaky for a few minutes - then goes blank. Screen strarts tilting and lowering on its own even after car is shut down-- anyone with this problem?
update: this morning, screen came on fully functional , but not as bright or sharp of an image as normal- then blank again.
of course its a dealership issue!!!! At 4:00 PM on Sat when it happened and now Sun ---dealer ain't gonna happen. I was just hoping that someone had experienced the same problem and could give me insight before I go to the dealership.

Easy Tonto...don't get upset,,,just trying to help...
not upset, just don't understand why people, at times on CF, want to state the obvious. I guess it increases post count, just like I'm doing.
It always helps to have a little understanding of a problem's cause and a possible solution before going to the dealer. With all the knowledgeable people on CF, going in with a tech service # or bulletin # would make it easier on a service department with questionable knowledge on Corvettes to begin with.
My touch screen went blank one evening with about 300 miles on the car. I opened the nav screen, and played (gently!) with the ribbon cable that comes from the chassis to the screen, and it came back. The ribbon cable would both drive the display and feed back the open/close button command, so it could be consistent with the problem you're having. Ribbon cables socket into the receiving end by a pressure fit, sometimes with a press-to-clamp anchor and sometimes not.
Try tapping on the dash area when it happens. If it returns to normal it is probably a bad connection like perviously mentioned. You will be
giving the garage some heads up info. Good luck
