Alight Here we go again.... I recently installed the vararam and now whenever im slowing down my car starts to hesitate and the Air Mass Flow Sensor is mounted correctly and facing the right way.. Has Anyone delt with this situation before??
I don't think the instructions said to disconnect the battery. I didn't disconnect mine when I did my install. I figured if it was important they would include it in the instructions.... but, on the other hand I have seen much better instructions in my day. Like the time I bought my kid a bike made in China, and all the instructions were written in chineese .
its imperative you diconnect the battery after each and every
Mod, or you stand a good chance of throwing CELs
The computer gets conflicting info and throws codes
Its a fact.
Its a good thing you did, but im afraid you have another issue
make sure you go over everything again loose wires, see if anything is pinched, you have the mas going the right way LOL
you get the point

My car was tuned right after the install of the vararam, so it wouldn't affect me if the battery was disconnected or not. If disconnecting the battery was THAT important, I'm sure it would have been stated in the instructions.
Wellit only does it when im in gear and whenever i just put it in neutral it just goes away its one thing after another with these cars its getting really annoying i think i just have bad luck with this vette!!!!!!
Check your connections.
Did you remove any maf screens? That would do it too.
You might have something not connected up all the way.Never had any issue w/my V-RAM when I had one.

You can just pull the ecm fuse (#11 on my 08) - it's easier
When I bought my Zo6 it didnt come with a screen in it.... but its weird bc I took out that vararam stack and it kinda went away.. My tranny is going out(no 2nd gear & 1st on its way) I dunno If that has to do with anything...

On a manual tranny car, you don't have the MAF influencing line pressure, so your Vararam did not lead to your tranny's demise.
Maybe a few missed shifts or lack of rev matching on downshifts would be more likely culprits.
