c6 rear speaker install help

Need advice on removing 5.25" rear speakers.Can't find much on the subject.Thanks.

I'd say you have two choices, check the FAQ in C6 General (at the top of the page), or go to the Audio/Electronics section under General Corvette Topics....lot's of info there too.

There isn't much to it. Pull back the carpet open the c clamp at the lower end of the hatch hold up rod ( one will not hold the hatch open so be ready for that). Pull the cover off and remove the screws that hold the speaker in place. You may need to pull the molding out forward of the speaker I can't remember I did mine when I installed the insulation kit. Good Luck
